Hold down the Map/Guide button for 5-10 seconds (A screen with a "Complete" button, will appear).

Hold down the Menu+Map/Guide+Cancel buttons for about 5 seconds (the "Select Diagnosis Items" screen will appear).

If your Honda/Acura navigation goes to this diagnostic screen every time it boots, follow these steps to fix it: A button labeled DISC LOAD will appear in the diagnostics menu instead of DOWNLOAD. 2005 ACURA MDX, the buttons that should be pressed are: MENU, MAP/GUIDE, and CANCEL.
